BBT&T is a minority owned and operated business in Beverly Hills, California
and has provided skilled medical transcription throughout the Los Angeles
County since 1981. For over 20 years BBT&T provided on-the-job training to
any individual who expressed a sincere desire to learn different and challenging
skills. We have taught various skills such as typing, filing, printing and character
counting before the computer was the norm.
We also taught medical terminology and have provided the training necessary to
enhance their skills. We have recruited students from various colleges and
universities including the University of Southern California, the University of
California Los Angeles, Santa Monica College, Southwest College, El Camino
College and Cal State Northridge to work with our company.
The Los Angeles Trade Technical College encouraged their students in their
medical terminology course to contact us because of our willingness to train and
hire students with limited medical terminology/transcription and have schooled
them to be able to perform proficiently in that particular area, many of whom
they have gone on to earn higher than average wages and in some instances
established their own business. Although we started in the field of medical
transcription, we soon found that we could also provide staffing services on a
temporary or permanent basis and started to provide in-house staffing for
various clients.
